Anna Hazare to promote his biopic on The Kapil Sharma Show
A unique
appearance of social crusader Anna Hazare on television. Anna Hazare will be
appearing as a guest on The Kapil Sharma Show, for which he shot on Friday.
Anna, was the co-founder of the Aam Aadmi Party but severed all relations after
his fallout with Arvind Kejriwal, will be telling us about his life and long
fight against corruption. Anna Hazare is coming to The Kapil Sharma show to
promote his upcoming biopic Anna: Kisan Baburao Hazare.
In 2011,
The veteran Gandhian came into limelight when he began a hunger strike
demanding the government should enact a stringent anti-corruption law, The
Lokpal Bill, to deal with corruption in the nation. Now Anna himself is
promoting the film. Anna: Kisan Baburao Hazare also stars Tanisha Mukherjee as
a young journalist researching on Anna’s social-political life.
Anna has
been shot in real locations of Anna’s native village Ralegan-Siddhi, apart from
Mumbai, New Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and Rajasthan. The firm is 130 minute long and has been directed
by Shashank Udapurkar, who is also playing the lead part of Anna. The film also
stars Rajit Kapoor, Sharat Saxena and Govind Namdeo in prominent roles.
