The Big Bang Theory season 11 without Penny, Leonard or Sheldon

The Big Bang Theory season 11 without Penny, Leonard or Sheldon

When asked if there’d still be a show without some of the core cast like Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco, he replied: ‘I have no idea. I think it would certainly be different and weird. There’s no point in me wondering what it could be when I have 19 scripts staring down at me that need to get written.’ If the show was to continue without the main cast, Molaro was staying sheepish on how long it would last. ‘I wouldn’t put a number on it,’ he said. ‘There’s so many moving pieces. Every actor will have their own opinion; their agents will have their own opinion; Warner Bros. will have their own opinion; CBS will have their own opinion. ‘It’s not really for me to put a number on it and worry about that stuff,’ he added.

While further discussing the future of the show with The Hollywood Reporter, Molaro said:‘All we can do right now is focus on season 10 and go script by script, which is what we would be doing anyway. ‘As far as I’m concerned, here in the writers’ room, it’s business as usual: moving forward with the characters and letting them live their lives day by day and feeling out what happens with them.’ Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, Mayim Bialik, Jim Parsons, Melissa Rauch and Simon Helberg make up the main cast of The Big Bang Theory. While it’s all sounding pretty up in the air at the moment, we’re sure CBS will find some way of continuing one of the biggest TV shows on the planet. The Big Bang Theory will kick off its tenth season on September 19 on CBS, and will air on E4 and Channel 4 in the UK at a later date.
